In several US cities, the idea os newspapers as noprofits is out there. Sounds likeit could work with a little planning. Newspapers don't need the huge spaces that house offices, presses, etc. in the E era. They need to relocate in small offices and communicate with their staff via e-mail. Probably a lot of people have that fugured out. The wire services = all e-mail, so no prob.
